Mendo Social Media produces comprehensive online identity packages including WordPress websites, social profiles, and ecommerce solutions. We work closely with our clients to understand their business priorities and offer the most valuable solutions. In addition to producing new identities, Mendo Social Media refreshes existing online presence with new or updated websites, content, social profiles or a selection of these options. We use web analytics to benchmark existing conditions and directly measure the impact of web investments.
Mendo Social Media has particular enthusiasm for working with small to medium sized wine businesses with a direct to consumer sales focus. Prior to starting Mendo Social Media, Josh Metz served as General Manager of the Magnanimus Wine Group. He and his wife Megan relocated from San Francisco to Hopland, California in the spring 2010 to re-open the historic Fetzer Valley Oaks Visitor Center, now called Campovida. A strong online presence was key to building and maintaining contact with the many visitors to the Magnanimus Tasting Room.
The success of these efforts led to the recognition that social media has great value to the broader wine and tourism community. This recognition and the desire to make a lasting contribution to the health and well being of rural economies lead to the creation of Mendo Social Media. Josh holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from UC Berkeley.
